M 16th Wild At Heart
first So I heard. On one occasion, he lived in Savatthi realized in the Jeta Grove Park Anathapindika. There he said to the monks thus: "Monks." "Venerable sir," replied the monks. Realized it said:
second The monks, to a monk who is not free from the five savagery in the heart and who is not got rid of five chains from my heart to come to the growth and development and the fulfillment of the Dhamma and Discipline - it's impossible.
third From what five of savagery in the heart is not broken? Here monks, a monk doubt, is uncertain, hesitant and unconvinced as to the Master. When it is, his heart is not inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is not free from the first wilderness in the heart.
4th And again, doubting monk, is uncertain, hesitant and unconvinced as to the Dhamma. When it is, his heart is not inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is not free from other savagery in the heart.
monk again 5.I doubt, is uncertain, hesitant and unconvinced as to the Assembly. When it is, his heart is not inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is not free from third savagery in the heart.
6th And again, doubting monk, is uncertain, hesitant and unconvinced about the training. When it is, his heart is not inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is not free from the Fourth of savagery in the heart.
7th And again, the monk is angry at his colleagues in the holy life, insulted and callous towards them. When it is, his heart is not inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is not free from the savagery in the heart of the fifth.
8th What is the five chains in which the heart does not get rid of? Here, a monk is not no desire or enthusiasm or love or thirst or fever, or lust of sensual pleasures. When this is his heart is not inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is not free from the shackles of the first in his heart.
9th Again, a monk is not no desire or enthusiasm or love or thirst or fever, or lust of the flesh. When this is his heart is not inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is not free from the shackles of others in the heart.
10th And again monk is not no desire or enthusiasm or love or thirst or fever, or lust of material forms. When this is his heart is not inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is not free from the shackles of a third heart.
11th And again after eating a full stomach and enjoy the monk continues so long as you wish, happy slumber, happy slumber. When this is his heart is not inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is not free from the shackles of quarters in the heart.
12th Again, a monk lives aspires to a holy life (rebirth) in a row of gods in this way: "By this virtue, these duties, these rules or a holy life, I will become a (great) god or some (lesser) god." When this is his heart is not inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is not free from the shackles of fifths in the heart.
13th There is a monk who did not abandon these five savagery in the heart and not got rid of the five chains from my heart came to the growth and development and the fulfillment of the Dhamma and Discipline - it's impossible.
14th There is a monk who has freed himself from these five savagery in the heart and that got rid of the five chains from my heart to come to the growth and development and the fulfillment of the Dhamma and Discipline - it's possible.
15th From what five of savagery in the heart is freed? Here, monks, a monk no doubt, is uncertain, hesitant and unconvinced as to the Master. When it does, his heart is inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is free from the first wilderness in the heart.
16th Again, a monk no doubt, is uncertain, hesitant and unconvinced as to the Dhamma. When it does, it heart tends to the effort, dedication, preservation and control. When this is so, it is free from other savagery in the heart.
17th Again, a monk no doubt, is uncertain, hesitant and unconvinced as to the Assembly. When it does, his heart is inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is free from third savagery in the heart.
18th Again, a monk no doubt, is uncertain, hesitant and unconvinced about the training. When it does, his heart is inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is free from the Fourth of savagery in the heart.
19th Again, a monk is not angry at his colleagues in the holy life, do not offend and is not callous to them. When it does, his heart is inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is free from the savagery in the heart of the fifth.
20th What is the five irons in the heart of which get rid of? Here, the monk has no desire or enthusiasm or love or thirst or fever, or lust of sensual pleasures. When his heart is so inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is free from the shackles of the first in his heart.
21st Again, the monk has no desire or enthusiasm or love or thirst or fever, or lust of the flesh. When his heart is so inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is free from the shackles of others in the heart.
22nd Again, the monk has no desire or enthusiasm or love or desire or lust fever or material forms. When his heart is so inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is free from the shackles of a third heart.
23rd And again after eating a full stomach and a monk not extend enjoying so long as you wish, happy slumber, happy slumber. When his heart is so inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is free from the shackles of quarters in the heart.
24th And again, the monk does not live a holy life aspires to (revival) in a row of gods in this way: "By this virtue, these duties, these rules or a holy life, I will become a (great) god or some (lesser) god. When his heart is so inclined to the effort, dedication, behavior and control. When this is so, it is free from the shackles of fifths in the heart.
25th There is a monk who has abandoned the five savagery in the heart and got rid of the shackles of these five came from the heart of the growth and development and the fulfillment of the Dhamma and Discipline - it's possible.
26th He develops the base having a concentration of spiritual power thanks to the enthusiasm, effort and determination. 27th A monk who has these fifteen factors, including the active involvement is able to break through, awakening, to achieve the highest safety from bondage.
